Jakarta, 5 February 2024 (Source: InvestorTrust) – Presidential candidate number 01, Anies Baswedan promised to encourage labor-intensive investment so that it can create many jobs for the community.
This commitment was conveyed by Anies when deepening the vision, mission and work program of presidential candidates in the fifth presidential debate which took place at the Jakarta Convention Central, Senayan, Jakarta, Sunday, (04/02/2024).
Meanwhile, answering the panelists’ questions regarding cellphone imports which reached IDR 30 trillion, Anies said that advances in communication and information technology systems could not be avoided.
To overcome this, improving human quality and innovation by pairing experts to transfer knowledge needs to be done.
Then he said labor-intensive investment must be supported by reform and bureaucratic improvements to create services and access to investment quickly and safely. “To invite investment, we can prepare the infrastructure,” added Anies.
No less important, he said, protection of intellectual rights will support the entry of capital-intensive investment and work that will enable Indonesia to jump more quickly.
