What is the Gotong Royong Vaccination Program?

The Gotong Royong Vaccination Program is a program that is aimed at companies/entrepreneurs to provide vaccinations for employees/employees’ families. This is an optional program as the Government has also established a National Covid-19 vaccination program which is given to the public for free.

What is the purpose of doing the Gotong Royong Vaccination?

The Gotong Royong Vaccination Program aims to help the government accelerate and expand herd immunity, in the hope that it could break the spread  of Covid-19.

Is the Gotong Royong Vaccination fee going to be borne by the employee? 

The Gotong Royong Vaccination Program is aimed at companies/entrepreneurs to independently purchase vaccines to be given to their employees/employees’ families so that the costs are going to be borne by the company.

How much is the price for Gotong Royong Vaccines?

To date the government has not yet set a price for the Gotong Royong Vaccines. As such, we (Kadin) are asking for suggestions from the business community regarding the maximum price per vaccine/dose.

Is the Gotong Royong vaccine the same as the Government ‘s free vaccines?

The government has not yet decided what type of vaccine is going to be used for the Gotong Royong Vaccination Program. However, the type of vaccine that will be used in this program is different from the National Covid-19 Vaccination or the vaccine given by the government to the public.

What kind of companies can participate in the Gotong Royong Vaccination Program?

All companies which have legal entities could participate in the Gotong Royong Vaccination Program.

Is the Gotong Royong Vaccination Program is only for the members of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN)?

Gotong Royong Vaccination is intended for all companies/entrepreneurs, MSMEs – large companies as long as they have a legal entity.

Are foreign employees allowed to participate in the Gotong Royong Vaccination program?

The Gotong Royong vaccination program can only be given to Indonesian employees or workers.

How safe is the Gotong Royong Vaccine?

Although the Gotong Royong Vaccine is different from the National Covid-19 Vaccine, the Gotong Royong  program will use a vaccine that is safe or has been recommended by WHO and has received BPOM approval.

Is it possible for the Gotong Royong Vaccine to overlap with the National Covid-19 Vaccination?

The Gotong Royong data is going to be submitted to the Government to avoid overlapping employee data with Covid-19 Vaccination data. In addition, everyone who has been vaccinated will receive a Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate.

How would the company participate?

Any company that wants to participate can register at vaksin.kadin.id by the latest on February 17th, 2021. The complete data forms for employees and families of employees participating in the vaccine have to be submitted by the latest on 28 February 2021.
