JAKARTA – On Monday (27/03), in partnership with Spendflo, the Indonesia Economic Forum successfully held a thought leadership roundtable with prominent young business leaders of Indonesia.

As times grow uncertain and weary, businesses everywhere take extra caution in making decisions for the future. Fortunately, our expert speakers were able to share with you just what sorts of precautions your business may need to take in order to be able to grow and stay afloat when faced with a stormy ocean.

Despite the general slowdown trend, opportunities continue to arise in different shapes and forms. Our speakers note that interest in automation and the digitalization of businesses have taken the forefront in terms of trends and that IT sectors continue to become the hottest sector of investment.

Indonesian businesses have taken a keen interest in talents in the tech sector and therefore it is essential to increase the country’s digital and tech literacy to create not only job-ready talents for the market but also increase the accessibility of technology to grassroots levels.

The success of this roundtable marks the first batch of the IEF Thought Leaders series. Moderated by our founder, Sachin Gopalan, the roundtable was attended by
1. Edward Ismawan Chamdani, Managing Partner of Ideosource Venture Capital
2. Alex Jatra, CFO of Ayoconnect
3. Alfatih Timur, Co-Founder & CEO of Kitabisa
4. Antonius Taufan, Founder & MD of TADA
5. Seema Sunghay, Senior Legal Consultant of Sagita Ridjab Syah & Partners
6. Melvin Mumpuni, Founder & CEO of Finansialku
7. Rajiv Ramanan, Co-Founder & CRO of Spendflo
